How to Use This Calculator

  1. Enter your Tier 1 subscribers, Bits per month, and ad revenue.
  2. Use the Affiliate tab to include all sub tiers and Prime subs.
  3. Use the Partner tab if you have a negotiated split above 50%.
  4. The Professional tab gives a full P&L including sponsorships and donations.

Formula

Sub Revenue = (T1 × $4.99 + T2 × $9.99 + T3 × $24.99) × Split% + Prime × $2.50

Bits Revenue = Total Bits × $0.01

Example

200 Tier 1 subs, 50% split: 200 × $4.99 × 0.5 = $499/month from subs alone.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Affiliates receive 50% of the $4.99 Tier 1 sub price = $2.50/sub. Partners can negotiate up to 70/30 splits. Twitch Prime subs (free for Prime members) pay the streamer approximately $2.50. Tier 2 ($9.99) and Tier 3 ($24.99) also split 50/50 by default.
  • Viewers purchase Bits and cheer them during streams. Each Bit is worth $0.01 to the streamer (Twitch keeps the margin on Bit purchases). Bits revenue is typically 5–10% of subscription revenue for most channels.
  • Affiliates get standard 50/50 sub splits and basic ad revenue. Partners get better ad rates, the ability to negotiate sub splits up to 70/30, Squad Stream, and more promotional support. Typical Partner requirements are 75 avg. viewers over 30 days.
  • Third-party donations via Streamlabs, StreamElements, or PayPal go directly to streamers with no Twitch cut. They are not tracked by Twitch but are often a significant income source for mid-tier streamers.
